If you are looking for unique turkey burger to serve this summer I would suggest giving this one a try.
Made with freshly ground turkey, sun-dried tomatoes, feta cheese, and a medley of herbs this burger hits home. Kids and adults both enjoy this healthy treat. That all by itself makes this burger a win.
Combine all of the ingredients number 1 – 11 in a large bowl with your hands. Gently and quickly work the ingredients together until completely combined.
Using a cooking scale, weigh out 6 oz portions of the burger mixture and press into a patty shape. (I use a burger press for this but you can use your hand easily as well.)
Lay the burgers out on a parchment lined sheet pan and place in the freezer for about 15 minutes.
In the meantime, gather your burger toppings. Fresh Hummus, Tzatziki, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Red Onion, Black olives..what-ever you want to add to this burger, go for it.
Heat your BBQ to medium high and cook burgers for approximately 4 minutes per side.
