Virtual Kitchen Parties
Join us on Thursday evenings from 5pm – 6:30pm for fun virtual Maritime Céilí’s.
A Céilí is the Irish Gaelic term for, “social gathering”, and the maritimes are famous for hosting these in-home events. Traditionally incorporating music, dance, food, drink, and laughter. Barn doors swing open and a make shift dance floor presents itself. Families are seen cooking and serving until the wee hours of morning. Everyone is welcome. Strangers become friends and social circles form communities.
In an effort to share my childhood experience here in the West, I am opening my home and my kitchen inviting all of you to join me and my family. Together creating delicious homemade meals while sipping unique cocktails and making new friends.
The rules are simple. Purchase a ticket to join us. When you can, try to bring a friend. In other words, purchase your ticket and let me know in the comment field the one friend you would like to bring with an email address to contact them. And I will send them a ticket link. Their guest pass fee is a donation I will collect and give to our monthly charity. $10 Minimum. The guest can only be a guest once. The minute they join they are part of our community and now they get to invite a friend to the next Céilí. And slowly but surely our network grows. We create new friendships, learn to cook fun meals, while we give back to our community.
Space is limited and it’s first come first serve. These experiences sell out fast so don’t wait too long or you’ll miss out.
Once you are registered, you will receive an ingredient list with local vendor suggestions for purchasing your items. I encourage all of you to use your local butcher, baker, farmer, and independent grocer if and when you can. Support your local small business community.
Available classes are listed here. I can’t wait to see you all for “sociables” and great times!
