Spice. It’s more than just heat, it is flavour too. And I love a great Pico De Gallo loaded with chilies, spices, and tomatoes. Subtle heat, tangy citrus, and fresh flavour. It is the perfect compliment to many a taco, nacho, or salad.

Ingredients

    1. 10 Roma Tomatoes seeded and diced 
    2. 1/2 Spanish Onion Diced 
    3. 1 Jalapeño  seeded and minced 
    4. 1 clove of Garlic minced 
    5. Zest and juice of 1 lime
    6. 1/4 Tsp Cumin
    7. 1/2 Tsp Coriander 
    8. 1/4 Cup minced fresh cilantro
    9. Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a bowl, stir and cover. Chill for at least an hour allowing the Pico to incorporate flavours. 
  2. Serve with tacos, nachos, chicken, beef, or pork. 
  3. Enjoy!
