Empress Q1908

Empress gin is a gorgeous purple gin created in Victoria, BC. The signature color of this gin is a spectacular purple hue. It makes every cocktail created with it, a stunning showpiece.

The Q1908 is the signature cocktail of the Fairmont Empress in Victoria, BC. An Empress Gin take on the classic gin sour, this purple cocktail is a summer favourite of mine.

Ingredients

• 2 oz Empress Gin
• 3/4 oz of Lemon juice
• 3/4 oz of simple syrup 
• 3/4 oz of egg white

Instructions

• Place all of the ingredients in a cocktail shaker and dry shake for 30 seconds. 
• Add ice cubes, and shake vigorously for 1 minute. 
• Using a fine bar strainer, strain the mixture into a coupe glass. 
• Garnish with dried rose petals and edible flowers.
